Byfuglien "knows that he is due, if not overdue" to start putting the puck in the net, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.

Analysis:

While fantasy owners who play in leagues that count penalty minutes have likely enjoyed the big winger's team-leading 47 minutes in the box, Byfuglien hasn't yet produced much in terms of goals and assists, tallying only four points through the team's first 19 games. However, Byfuglien leads the Jets in shots on goal with 62, plays the point on the team's second power-play unit and averages almost 20 minutes of ice time per game As such, the odds of finding some form of offensive success, whether it be tickling the twine or assisting his teammates, are certainly in his favor. If Byfuglien can pair respectable point production with his strong complementary stats (he's currently fourth in the league in PIM and tied for eighth in hits with 58), he'll cement himself as a valuable fantasy commodity.
