The Anaheim Ducks forward committed hockey's cardinal sin by staring at the puck early in the first period of Friday's game against the Dallas Stars, and Erik Cole made him pay.
Maroon turned to play a puck along the side boards in his own zone when Cole moved in for a massive hit:

Maroon appeared to be fine after the (completely legal) check and stayed in the game.
