Vincent Lecavalier: (Foot) Set To Play Saturday

Lecavalier (foot) will be activated from injured reserve and play Saturday against the Panthers, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

Lecavalier initially targeted a return to the lineup Thursday against the Lightning, but didn't quite feel 100 percent after skating the last week. The extra day was apparently all he needed to reach the finish line of his recovery, and he'll now prepare to make his first appearance in a game since Oct. 11.
