McElhinney will be in the crease Friday against the Maple Leafs.
Analysis:
Despite getting shellacked for five goals on 34 shot attempts his last time out against the Senators on Tuesday, McElhinney will continue to enjoy a run as the team's No. 1 starter with Sergei Bobrovsky (fractured finger) on IR. He'll more than likely fare a little bit better in Friday's start than he did against the Senators, but McElhinney represents far from a dependable option for those looking to maintain strong ratios. Friday's game will be the first of a back-to-back set for the Blue Jackets, so it's possible that the team will turn to Anton Forsberg for Saturday's turn in New Jersey.
