Avalanche center Briere will be healthy scratch vs. Islanders

Daniel Briere will be watching from the press box when his Colorado Avalanche face the New York Islanders on Thursday night.
Colorado head coach Patrick Roy told reporters that Briere will be a healthy scratch and forward Dennis Everberg will play, according to ESPN Denver's Drew Spevak.
Briere has two goals and one assist in 10 games.
