Blue Jackets' Letestu out 2-4 weeks with groin injury

Add fourth-line center and shootout specialist Mark Letestu to the Columbus Blue Jackets' lengthy infirmary list.

The journeyman forward has sustained a groin injury and will be out of the lineup for two-to-four weeks the Blue Jackets announced Wednesday.

The 29-year-old center has been forced into playing second-line minutes this season as a result of injuries to the likes of Brandon Dubinsky and Boone Jenner, while also leading all Blue Jackets forwards in short-handed time on ice. Letestu had scored three goals and pitched in two assists in his first nine games of the season.

With Letestu joining Dubinsky and Artem Anisimov on the shelf, expect the Blue Jackets to ride Ryan Johansen as if he were a defenseman.
