General manager Lou Lamoriello said Cammalleri is not dealing with a broken jaw, but could be experiencing some neck discomfort, Rich Chere of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Analysis:

Cammalleri was sent in for X-rays for further clarity on the matter and didn't join the team in Pittsburgh for Tuesday's game. The winger took an elbow to the jaw in Friday's game against the Stars, but remained in the contest the rest of the way and also played in Ottawa on Saturday. The Devils believe his injury is just a day-to-day situation, perhaps making him an option for Thursday's tilt with the Jets.
