Devils place Martin Havlat on injured reserve

The New Jersey Devils announced Monday that forward Martin Havlat has been placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.
Lou Lamoriello announces that Martin Havlat (lower body) joins Jordin Tootoo on IR, retroactive to Oct. 21.

In its infancy, Havlat's tenure with the Devils has been rather unpleasant. After suffering severe facial lacerations less than week into the season, Havlat now sits with an unrelated injury.
