Well, that's now three shutouts (a new career high already) in four starts for Kuemper, and he only allowed two goals in the other one. Quite the incredible start to the year for the 24-year-old netminder, and one that should help keep veteran backup Niklas Backstrom firmly pinned to the bench except in back-to-back situations.
