Myers was handed a 10-minute misconduct penalty at 12:02 of the third period, ending his night prematurely in the Sabres' 4-1 loss to Anaheim on Wednesday.

Analysis:

Aside from his early departure, Myers had a pretty strong game, finishing with two shots, three hits, two blocked shots and one takeaway. His absence was certainly missed, as the Ducks iced the game when Corey Perry completed his hat trick late in the third period. Myers was originally called for holding Sami Vatanen, and was then handed a misconduct for going after him. The blueliner now has 16 PIM and 17 shots in seven games, but has yet to register a single point. He still hasn't taken that leap everyone has been expecting. Myers still has tons of potential but may need to move elsewhere to really blossom.
