Adam Lowry:

Lowry picked up the first goal (and point) of his NHL career Tuesday against the 'Canes, following Andrew Ladd's early-first-period goal with his own marker 40 seconds later.

Analysis:

A nice moment for Lowry, but his short-term offensive upside is relatively limited -- he posted just 33 points in 64 AHL games last year. At 21, Lowry still has developing to do, but it appears he'll have to do that while skating on the Jets' checking line.
