Avs' Varlamov set to return from groin injury Friday vs. Canucks

The Colorado Avalanche's goaltending injury woes appear to be coming to an end, at least in regards to starter Semyon Varlamov.

Head coach Patrick Roy announced Monday that Varlamov will be "ready to go" for Friday's game against the Vancouver Canucks.

The Vezina Trophy finalist missed the past two games with a groin injury, and will be looking to bounce back after a rough start that saw him post a .910 save percentage while failing to record a win in three starts.
