Oilers' Scrivens shows off mental health awareness mask
Bruce Fedyck / USA TODAY Sports
Edmonton Oilers goaltender Ben Scrivens will don a series of masks over the course of the season devoted to raising awareness for mental health.
He displayed the first mask, designed by a man who lives with schizophrenia, prior to wearing it during Monday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Here's another look.
Good on Scrivens for devoting an important part of his equipment to a great cause.
