Brandon Pirri saw his first action of the season replacing injured David Bolland.

Pirri saw his first action of the season Saturday, replacing the injured Dave Bolland and taking three shots on goal over 13 minutes.

Analysis:

Pirri didn't contribute on the scoresheet, but looked good while centering the third line between Sean Bergenheim and Tomas Fleischmann. The 23-year-old center scored seven goals and seven assists in only 21 games for the Panthers last season. While it had seemed likely he'd make the opening lineup this year, Pirri had been a healthy scratch in the first four games of the year.
