Leafs' Lupul on playing in Detroit, Buffalo: 'Probably better energy than we get back in Toronto'

Leafs Nation travels well.

Ontario-based Toronto Maple Leafs fans are particularly fond of heading to the border-crossings at Windsor, On. or Niagara Falls, On., and crossing over to watch the Leafs play the Buffalo Sabres or the Detroit Red Wings at a cheaper price point than those on offer at the Air Canada Mausoleum Center. 

Whether it's the cheaper prices, or the fact that only die hard fans are likely to make the drive to Michigan or upstate New York, Maple Leafs crowds in visiting arenas have a reputation for being rowdier than their counterparts on Bay Street in Toronto.

Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul, for one, has taken notice:
