Penguins' Dupuis in lineup Saturday vs. Islanders

Don Wright / USA TODAY Sports

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Pascal Dupuis will play Saturday against the New York Islanders after a scary incident on Thursday against the Dallas Stars that left the forward writhing in pain on the ice.

Dupuis skated on his own Friday, and joined practice Saturday morning. He explained the incident as it happened to the Penguins' official twitter account.

"I got pushed from behind, went down and I knew the puck was coming so I tried to cover myself," Dupuis said. "The puck dipped and hit me in the neck."

Dupuis also shared some scary details with PENS TV via Sportsnet, "I tried to get up and couldn't feel my arms."

Through three games this season, Dupuis has tallied four points.
