VIDEO: Former Oiler Ryan Whitney mocks their rocky start

The Edmonton Oilers have earned their share of critics for struggling out of the gate this season, and one of their former defensemen is joining in.

Ryan Whitney doesn't have any words for the Oilers' 0-4-1 start or 25 goals allowed, but he does have a facial expression.

This looks a little bit like the expression he's making in his photo on HockeyDB.

Whitney signed with Sochi of the KHL on Thursday. The nine-year NHL veteran played seven games for the Florida Panthers and 45 games for their AHL affiliate in San Antonio last season.

He spent four seasons with the Oilers from 2009 to 2013.

Now excuse us while we grab some popcorn and wait for the team to respond.
