Capitals head coach Barry Trotz indicated there was an "outside chance" that Wilson (ankle) would return to action during the team's upcoming three-game road trip in Western Canada, Alex Prewitt of The Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Wilson (ankle) has yet to play this season as he rehabs from surgery to repair a broken leg sustained during the offseason. Although Wilson might "catch the tail end" of the trip, he is also just as likely to be sent to AHL Hershey for a conditioning assignment, so he's still a risk to add in single-season leagues at this time, although the time for his season debut appears to be drawing closer.
