Analysis:

Mason has performed woefully in his first three starts this season (0-2-1, 3.30 GAA, .884 save percentage), but coach Craig Berube hasn't seemed to waver in his support of the goalie, who was inked to a three-year extension in January. Even so, it may be tough for Mason to come away with his first win Saturday, matching up on the road against a tough Dallas squad that has received stellar play thus far from its own No. 1 netminder, Kari Lehtonen.
