Analysis:

Murray is apparently close to receiving clearance to return to action, but he'll have to get in a few more practices before he's activated from injured reserve. The Blue Jackets acknowledged that it's possible Murray could return at some point during the team's California trip, perhaps as soon as next Thursday versus the Sharks.
