Coyotes assign Justin Hodgman to Portland

The Arizona Coyotes have sent forward Justin Hodgman to the Portland Pirates of the AHL.
Hodgman led the Coyotes with five preseason points and survived the final round of cuts in training camp.
He signed with the team as a free agent on July 1.
