Reinhart was reassigned to AHL Adirondack on Wednesday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Analysis:

The 22-year-old was one of several young centers auditioning for duty with the Flames, but it looks like the fourth-line gig will instead come down to either Joe Colborne or Markus Granlund. After registering 21 goals and 42 assists over 66 games in the AHL last season, Reinhart has little left to prove in the minors, which should result in him seeing multiple opportunities to rejoin the Flames in 2014-15.
