NHL Game Summary - Los Angeles at San Jose

San Jose, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Dustin Brown's goal early in the second period proved to be the difference as the Los Angeles Kings defeated the San Jose Sharks, 4-1, in preseason action on Tuesday.

Justin Williams, Drew Doughty and Dwight King also scored for the Kings. Jonathan Quick allowed a goal on 17 shots through two periods and Martin Jones stopped all seven shots sent his way in the third.

Joe Thornton scored the lone goal for San Jose. Antti Niemi surrendered four goals on 30 shots in the setback.
