Eriksson is slated to split time at Utica with Jacob Markstrom, a former top goalie prospect whose stock has stumbled considerably over the last year. It's very possible that Eriksson could surpass Markstrom as the No. 3 goalie on the Canucks' organizational depth chart, perhaps putting him on track for a promotion if either Ryan Miller or Eddie Lack succumbs to injury.
