Lindbohm has opened some eyes with his play so far during Blues training camp, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Analysis:

Lindbohm doesn't have much pedigree as a sixth-round draft choice in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, but the 6-foot-3, 209-pound blueliner has looked every part of a future NHLer over the last couple of weeks. The 21-year-old has produced a plus-4 rating while averaging over 19 minutes in his three exhibitions, showcasing an excellent shot and reliability on his own end. While it's more realistic that he opens the season at AHL Chicago, the fact that he's still in the conversation for a roster spot on a deep St. Louis blue line is a remarkable achievement for an unheralded prospect.
