It's becoming worrisome that the elite hockey player hasn't practiced -- let alone skate -- in training camp. Malkin suffered from a foot injury in the spring and it's very possible that the ailment is keeping him out of action. An upper-body injury would not necessarily preclude Malkin from participating in a non-contact jersey. Coach Johnston continues to push back Malkin's timetable, and while Opening Night remains 10 days away, fantasy owners need to keep a close eye on the Russian.
