Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Pontus Aberg scored two goals and the Nashville Predators defeated the Florida Panthers, 4-1, in preseason action on Saturday.
Kevin Fiala also scored and Austin Watson added an empty-net goal for Nashville, which had Pekka Rinne stop 22-of-23 shots.
Alex Petrovic scored the lone goal for Florida. Roberto Luongo allowed two goals on 18 shots in the setback.
The Predators beat the Panthers, 2-1, in a shootout during a split-squad game earlier in the day.
