Neuvirth will have his work cut out for him with Jhonas Enroth posting a shutout in his preseason start. The two are in a battle for the starting job and the Sabres are dressing a veteran-heavy lineup against Toronto, so there will be no excuses for a poor showing. Neuvirth was very good for the Sabres before suffering a hip injury and is looking to continue where he left off. The Sabres are unlikely to name a starter until a few days before their season opener. As of right now, Enroth has the inside track, but a strong performance from Neuvirth at camp can certainly change that.
