The Montreal Canadiens improved to 2-0-0 in the exhibition campaign with a 3-2 overtime win over the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night, and the 20-year-old was the hero.
The Canadiens beat the Boston Bruins 3-2 on Tuesday in Montreal's first preseason game.
The Avalanche and Canadiens won't have to wait long to renew hostilities. They meet again in Quebec City on Friday night.
