Anderson will start Wednesday's split-squad game against the Maple Leafs, Wayne Scanlan of the Ottawa Citizen reports.

Analysis:

Anderson is expected to be between the pipes for the entire contest, while Robin Lehner does the same for the Senators in the other split-squad game occurring at the same time in Toronto. The fact that both goalies are playing full games this early in the preseason suggests that coach Paul MacLean hasn't decided on who is No. 1 netminder will be entering the season. The expectation here is that Anderson will get the nod, by virtue of his longer tenure with the organization, as well as the three-year extension he signed in August.
