NHL Game Summary - Washington at Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Vincent Lecavalier's power-play goal early in the third period proved to be the game winner as the Philadelphia Flyers took a 5-4 win over the Washington Capitals in preseason action.

Mark Streit had a goal and three assists while Jakub Voracek added a goal and two assists for the Flyers, who also got goals from Brayden Schenn and Andrew Gordon.

Ray Emery played the first half of the game in net and allowed two goals on 11 shots. Rob Zepp made 17 saves on 19 shots the rest of the way.

Eric Fehr and Troy Brouwer each had a goal and an assist for the Capitals, who also got markers from John Erskine and Michael Latta.

Justin Peters allowed two goals on 14 shots in close to 32 minutes of action, while Philipp Grubauer gave up three goals on 11 shots.
