Devils' Clowe cleared for contact in training camp

New Jersey Devils Ryane Clowe confirmed Thursday his 6-foot-3, 225-pound frame has been cleared for contact to start training camp.

His third concussion in less than a calendar year cut his debut season with the Devils short in March last season. 

Clowe sought the guidance of a neurologist over the summer months and has received the green light to re-join his team after being awarded a clean bill of health.
