Report: Alfredsson seeing back specialist, will not attend Wings camp

Daniel Alfredsson's status was updated Tuesday, and it appears as though the decision on whether he will return for another season could be made for him.

Alfredsson is on record as saying he won't sign on to play in 2014-15 if he's unable to make a meaningful contribution. Unless he can get his back issues straightened out sooner rather than later, retirement seems like the more plausible option.
