Flyers chairman Ed Snider is cancer-free: 'I’m totally healthy. It’s gone'

Philadelphia Flyers chairman Ed Snider was reluctant to talk about his cancer diagnosis after undergoing treatment in May, but it turns out no news was good news.
"Well, you never want that Big C, but luckily it’s all gone," Snider told reporters on Saturday. "I’m totally healthy. It's gone."
Snider, who learned he was cancer-free on Aug. 13, is "cautiously optimistic" about the upcoming Flyers season and has no plans to retire as long as he is mentally and physically fit.
