Wilson underwent surgery to repair a broken fibula, sustained during a fall in June, and is apparently progressing well. With Alex Ovechkin poised to play more at left wing and the new coaching staff desiring a greater role for Wilson than the fourth-line pugilist duties he had last season, the door is open for Wilson to gain more quality ice time if he can return to the lineup in a timely manner. Keep an eye on his progress, as the power forward could have decent sleeper upside in deeper leagues this season.
