The Minnesota Wild and forward Nino Niederreiter have agreed on a three-year contract, the team announced Thursday.
Michael Russo of the Star Tribune reports the terms of the deal.
"I'm glad it's over with and I don't have to worry about the contract any more. I can't wait to focus on playing," Niederreiter told Russo.
The winger scored 14 goals and added 22 assists in 81 regular-season games in 2013-14. He scored three times and added three assists in 13 playoff games.
The 22-year-old reportedly turned down a "huge KHL offer" to continue negotiating with the Wild. He was a restricted free agent.
Wild training camp begins on Sept. 18.
