Quick (wrist) is targeting a return to game action during the final few contests of the preseason, Jon Rosen of LAKingsInsider.com reports.

Analysis:

Quick is nearing the end of the 10-to-12 week recovery timetable he was given after undergoing surgery on his wrist after the Kings' Stanley Cup run, and will likely be limited in the early stages of training camp. However, the team expects their top netminder to gradually round into form as camp rolls on, so there wouldn't seem to be much reason to downgrade him significantly in drafts. Though he scuffled more than anticipated in the playoffs, Quick was rock-solid when healthy in the regular season, finishing with a 2.07 GAA and .915 save percentage over his 49 appearances.
