Hertl (knee) will enter training camp with his health fully intact, Kevin Kurz of CSNBayArea.com reports.

Analysis:

After Hertl saw his rookie season cut in half following knee surgery last December, the Sharks were understandably holding their breath when Hertl tweaked the knee in July during the team's prospect camp. However, team doctors determined Hertl's injury was nothing to worry about days later, and now the 20-year-old will look to put in a full season in the pros. Hertl often put on dazzling displays of creativity as a goal-scorer as a rookie, and with the winger ticketed for a top-line role alongside savvy center Joe Thornton, a breakout season could be on the horizon.
