Sidney Crosby happy with decision not to have wrist surgery

Brad Rempel / USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Penguins will have a completely healthy captain when Sidney Crosby arrives at training camp later in the month. During media availability, Crosby told Stephen Whyno his health is no longer a concern.

Crosby admitted Monday he sustained the injury in March after taking a hit from Ryan Reaves of the St. Louis Blues and jamming his wrist. He scored 10 points after the incident during the regular season, adding nine more over 13 playoff games.
