Leo Komarov played his first NHL season with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2012-13, scoring nine points in 42 games, but returned to the KHL last season.

It wasn't too long before Komarov wanted to rejoin the NHL, and his priority was coming back to the team he played for first.

Komarov told reporters he wanted to come back to the Maple Leafs. "I really miss this type of hockey and all the boys in Toronto ... it was my dream to play here," he told James Mirtle of The Globe and Mail.

After signing a four-year contract with his dream team, Komarov told media, "I'm not the skilliest player out there." Excellent pickup.
