With that step out of the way, McQuaid thinks he will be ready for the start of the upcoming campaign. "I think so, I really do," McQuaid noted with regard to his chances of being ready to start the season. "I'm feeling good and I'm finally to a point where I can push it. We still have a month before the season starts, and I look at where I was a month ago to where I'm at now, I do feel really good about it." On the heels of a 2013-14 season in which he was limited to six points and 69 penalty minutes in 30 games, McQuaid's fantasy utility is generally limited to formats in which his PIMs factor in.
