Henrik Lundqvist on Stanley Cup final loss: 'I still think about it'

The New York Rangers were defeated in the Stanley Cup final by the Los Angeles Kings more than two months ago, but it's still something that bothers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist.

"I still think about it," he told The New York Post.

Three of the Rangers' four defeats came in overtime, with Lundqvist boasting a .923 save percentage for the series.

The Rangers weren't always Cup favorites, starting the season 3-7. "I think we showed ourselves and a lot of people that even though you're off to a slow start, you can turn things around," he said.

Although the season ended in disappointment, Lundqvist is certain the Rangers are progressing: "I think the entire year was definitely a step in the right direction for us."
