Lightning sign Brenden Morrow to 1-year contract
The Tampa Bay Lightning added some veteran leadership to their offensive corps on Friday, signing free agent forward Brenden Morrow to a one-year contract worth a reported $1.55-million.

Morrow, 35, posted 13 goals and 25 points with the St. Louis Blues last season.
A two-way specialist, Morrow spent the better part of 13 seasons with the Dallas Stars, topping the 20-goal plateau seven times before being shipped to the Pittsburgh Penguins before the 2012-13 trade deadline.
