Report: Devils' Janssen signs 1-year, 2-way contract extension worth $575,000

The New Jersey Devils re-signed Cam Janssen to a one-year, two-way deal worth $575,000, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
The 30-year-old appeared in only 28 games for New Jersey over the past two seasons, recording three goals and 24 penalty minutes. Over the course of his career - split between the Devils and the St. Louis Blues - Janssen recorded six goals, eight assists and 774 minutes in penalties, giving evidence to the more "effective" aspects of his game.
His NHL salary for 2014-15 is a $25,000 bump over this past season.
