Marleau, O'Reilly and St. Louis voted Lady Byng finalists

The NHL has revealed the three finalists for the 2013-14 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy: Patrick Marleau of the San Jose Sharks, Ryan O'Reilly of the Colorado Avalanche and Martin St. Louis of the New York Rangers.

The award is given to "the player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability," as per NHL.com.

Marleau registered 33 goals and 37 assists while receiving only 18 penalty minutes in an average ice time of 20:31 with San Jose, while O'Reilly recorded a career-high 64 points (28 goals, 34 assists) while leading the league in takeaways (86) and being called for one single minor penalty on the season - playing with a broken stick.

St. Louis won the award last season and has taken home four of the past five Lady Byng trophies. He scored 30 goals and added 39 assists with the Rangers and the Tampa Bay Lightning, and was assessed just 10 penalty minutes, the fewest among the League's top 20 scorers.

The 38-year-old is a Lady Byng finalist for the eighth time in the past 10 years.

The NHL Awards will be handed out June 24 in Las Vegas.
