Sharks' Marc-Edouard Vlasic: Will represent Canada
Vlasic will join Canada at the 2017 IIHF World Championship, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.
Analysis:
Vlasic not only saw a dip in production -- 28 points this season compared to 39 in 2015-16 -- but saw nearly two minutes less of ice time versus last year. The 30-year-old registered three helpers -- two of which came on the power play -- during the playoffs, but couldn't help his team avoid a first-round exit.
