Capitals' Karl Alzner: Missing another game
Alzner (upper body) will sit out Thursday's series opener against Pittsburgh, Isabelle Khurshudyan of the Washington Post reports.
Analysis:
The team hasn't given any indication as to the nature of Alzner's injury, but he's been out since April 17. It has sounded at times like he was nearing full health, but at this point it seems safe to assume that he's unlikely to play until a definitive return date is provided.
