Panthers' Vincent Trocheck: Will skip IIHF World Championship
Trocheck will not play in the 2017 IIHF World Championship in Germany from May 5-21, NHL.com reports.
Analysis:
Trocheck will opt out to rest due to nagging injuries. He led the Panthers with 54 points, setting a new career high along the way. He also racked up a career-best 10 assists on the power play, although his minus-13 rating took away some of his value in fantasy formats. In pools rewarding hits and not using plus-minus, he was a stud.
