Devils' Devante Smith-Pelly: Injury cutting into offseason

Smith-Pelly (lower body) said he likely isn't going to return to the ice for another 2-to-4 weeks, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.

Analysis:

The Devils missed the playoffs, so this only delays DSP's offseason regimen. Turning 25 years old in June, the winger has one year left on his contract before he'll become a restricted free agent.
