Canucks' Nikolay Goldobin: Reassigned to AHL Utica

Goldobin was sent down to the minors Monday.

Analysis:

Goldobin notched a pair of goals in his final three outings with the Canucks this season and will look to carry that momentum forward into the closing regular-season games for AHL Utica. In his previous appearances in the minors, the winger notched 15 goals and 26 helpers along with 16 PIM. Considering how low Vancouver finished in the standings, the organization could be in line for a rebuild and will need to determine where (if at all) Goldobin fits into its future plans.
